Hey all; First Thread! Anyway, If you've got a good system but you still lag at some compatible games here's a little 'tip' to help your system.
[WINDOWS VISTA & XP]
1. Go to 'CONTROL PANEL' - It can be accessed by: Start -> Control Panel
2. On the 'Uncategorised' view look for 'System'
3. When you have found System open up the file.
4. At the Tabs at the top click 'ADVANCED'
5. Once on ADVANCED, At the top of that 'Page' you should see 'Performance' and a option with 'Settings' click the 'Settings Button'
6. On the 'Settings' view; It should display a list full of tick-boxes; Click 'Adjust for best performance' and then 'Apply'
7. You should notice some performance changes; All this does is disables 'Visual Effects' and uses the Classic Windows view. It will reduce virtual RAM allowing more virtual RAM to be used in-game.
If you have any issues; Contact me.
Hope I've helped!
- Mayo.
[EDIT] It now works with Windows Vista also!
